| Stargate Atlantis
| In the sixth series of the SG1 programme, a second Stargate is discovered on Earth. It is activated on the Antarctica base with a team led by Weir and Shephard being sent through. The team arrive on the other side in a city. The occupants have all gone and its under water. The place is referrred to as Atlantis, the fabled city from the Greeks. The Stargate to which they have come is not powerful enough to send them back. Their new homeworld where they are now based is in a galaxy in the Pegasus constellation. There is a second stargate in the city which enables them to visit worlds in their new galaxy. No longer do they need to fear the Ga'ould. Now the new threat comes from the Wraith. The Wraith feed on human energy as opposed to eating them. The Wraith were in a hibernation mode until the arrival of the team led by Shephard. Now that they've awoken the beasts, they have to defeat them. If they hadn't gone to that planet, they wouldn't have had to deal with them, typical. New aliens both friends and enemies are to be discovered. The opener two part series has Robert Patrick as a commando who is killed in the second part. Robert Patrick played John Duggan in the X-Files and the T-1000 in Terminator 2. Like SG1, they are joined by an alien, this time its a female called Teyla who joins them in the opening episodes. |

| | Marylin | May 17, 2008, 12:22 am | | I love watching Stargate- Atlantis. It is something that could be believeable!!! I wish I could join them. Being able to walk thru a Stargate and go to other worlds would be fantastic. I would love riding on a spaceship like they use. That would be neat also!! I know it is all make believe but a person can dream can't they?? |

Ronon is a rebel with a Wraith transmitter in his back, who was tortured and released to become a fugitive hunted by the Wraith. Untill these guys, looking for Ford, found him. |
