They said she was an alien of unknown origin but never elaborated any further. She has powers that you'd expect of a God, one that has ther ability to change the outcome of the future. In one episode, the crew are killed by an alien robot. She journeys back in time to warn the crew to save, failing to do so a number of times. Her look changes during the second series, from a purple creature to a red headed creature. Harper has mixed up time and space which causes the Trance from the future to swap place with the current Trance. At the end of the fourth series, we learn she is a sun. At the beginning of the fifth series, she looses her memory and has to begin again. At the end of the series, Trance's fellow aliens turn up to take her home after combating the Abyss for the last time. Her old look is below with her new latest look above. Person Profile Her character has changed from a blue skinned, blonde haired human-like creature with a tail to a tail-less red haired creature. Gone has the bra-top and shorts, in come the cleavage showing body suit. One wonders why they did it, possibly to compete with the natural red Sikozu character from Farscape.
