| Investigating what happened on a distant planet, the sole survivor warns it could be a trap. When the Enterprise discovers an escaping craft, they persue. The Metrons, an omnipotent alien race who are watching and who want to bring the chase to a head, teleport both Kirk and the pilot of the escaping craft down to the planet. Whoever wins, leave the planet, the other and his crew are killed. |
