Fear and Loathing in the Milky Way

Alien Race(s) Nightsiders

Synopsis

Whilst onboard a spacestation collecting supplies, Trance and Harper come across their old foe, Jeretex, the Nightsider who had hired Beka and her crew to get the Andromeda away from the Black Hole. He immediately ties them up after sedating them. He uses a small remote control to inflict pain on them whenever they disagree with him. Both Trance and Harper experience pain at the same time rather than being selective. He's got a few bounties on his head and is in search of diary that can make him rich. He orders them to pilot to a space station to meet with a contact. Before he can do that, there's a bounty hunter thats on their tail which Jeretex advises on how to get rid of him. Trance and Harper go inside the station and meet up with the contact. She'll only give up what they are looking for in return for some credits which they don't have. The quickest way to get that money is to do some gambling which Trance proves to be at natural at. After getting the money then exchanging it for the item, they have to escape a few unwanted aliens. Back on board the Eureka Mauru, they are recaptured by Jeretex who takes them to an asteroid. The asteroid is where the diary is held, again there is an unwanted alien to deal with which is dispatched with ease. After finding the diary, they return to the ship where the two men fight it out before Trance pulls a weapon on each of them. Both men agree to put their hatred aside and give up. Jeretex is dropped off at a spacestation with a three plants that produce more oxygen than any other plant which Trance had brought at the beginning of the episode. Beka and Dylan had to deal with a planet that wanted to withdraw from the Commonwealth but after Beka told them off, they decided to stay.
