| The story begins years ago where after a man is killed, the police hunt down and kill a creature that took refuge in a cave. Fast forward to today, the same scenario occurs, a man is killed, his arm has been ripped off. There are signs that the limb had been eaten off. Scully is invited to investigate by a colleague but Mulder seemingly without permission takes charge. When Scully returns to Washington, Mulder stays behind to carry on the investigation. He soons discovers that the creature is attacking the homeless. When he stays a night with the homeless, the creature appears. He gives chase along with New Jersey police. The creature is chased into the countryside where it is shot. Post Mortem investigation of the creature reveals the creature to a female, of human physique. There is no difference in DNA structure to that of a human. This person just grew up as a feral child. The episode ends showing a feral child emerging from a dark place. |
