| John ventures down to the planet Earth which he had arrived at in the previous episode with Aeryn, Chiana, D'argo, Rygel and Noranti. A more sensible options would've been to have gone to the planet with just Aeryn and Sikozu. Those two females would be able to walk the streets and turn no-ones heads. Sikozu is left aboard Moya to look after Scorpius. It turns out its 1985 and its Halloween when the aliens can get away with looking like monsters. Its also just before the Challenger space shuttle disaster which John's father is about to take part. He visits Kansas where he sets about preventing his father from taking part in the mission any way he can. The other crew members hide out in a desserted house to avoid everyone apart from some police officers and a couple of children. D'argo deals with the officers by knocking them out with his tongue whilst Rygel scares off the children by pretending to be a toy then coming to life. Chiana befriends the young John. Being a new friend of Johns is used to the crews best by luring him to the deserted house so that they can stage an incident thus preventing John's father from getting onto the Challenger. Grayza enters the ship whilst no-ones onboard and leaves a monster that will hunt and kill John Crichton. The monster can become invisible naturally and can contact communicate with Grayza by the use of a device. Once they've sorted out the past, they return to the Moya where they've managed to return to the present day. John is greated by a group of IASA scientists and his father which he has a bit of trouble believing its his father. |
