| The Enterprise picks up a lifeless, floating spaceship, the Botany Bay. When they bring it onboard and wake up the inhabitents. They discover the leader is Khan Noonien Singh, a prominent leader from the Eugenics war which happened centuries ago. Khan leads a rebellion against the crew of the Enterprise. Kirk has no option but to maroon the crew of the Botany on a nearby planet. This episode provided the authors of the movies the theme for the second movie, the Wrath of Khan. |
