The Carbomite Maneuver
| Up against a huge cube in space, they are contacted by a Balok representative who says the Enterprise will be destroyed. Kirk bluffs his way by saying that his craft contains Carbomite, a highly dangerous explosive. It works, the Balok attempts to flees but Kirk chases him. The Balok is captured as another Balok craft approaches. The second Balok apologises and takes the first away along with Lt. Bailey. Bailey will study the new alien lifeform for the Federation. |
