| The Inquisitor
| The Inquisitor is a time-travelling robot who after reaching the end of the Universe decides to return through the years and change things for the better. This means visiting the lives of people and determining if they should be replaced by someone who never had the chance. He judges everyone by being them and those that fail are replaced. Listers in trouble. After arriving on the Red Dwarf, he gets them to judge one another with Lister and Kryten failing. They are put it to Limbo whilst he creates the replacements. Whilst in Limbo, the two crew member give the Inquisitor the slip. The Cat and Rimmer can't remember the other two when they cross paths. Lister manages to trick the Inquisitor into killing him and thus returning the time line back to normal. |
