| The Enterprise visits a planet which is inhabited by archaelogists Robert and Nancy Carter. Not before long, members of the away crew are being killed off one by one. Kirk investigates and discovers that the creature behind it is a Salt Vampire. A creature that depends on salt. Robert had a supply of salt to keep the creature in check and so when that run out, it went hunting for salt. |
