| When questioned about the quality of the pictures, Spock reveals the pictures are being sent from Talos IV. When they arrive on the planet, Pike is teleported down to the planet. He regains his youthful looks as the Talosians have the power to do that. Mendez disappears as he was created by the Talosians to give an aire of authenticity to the situation. Both part 1 + 2 includes scenes from the pilot episode 'The Cage'. |
