Synopsis
In the episode "Space Seed" from the Original Series, Kirk comes face to face with Khan Noonien Singh, a person from the 1990s. Khan is a superhuman who once awaken from his sleep attempted to take control of the Enterprise. After a battle onboard the Enterprise, the super humans are marooned on Ceti Alpha 5 to colonize. Ceti Alpha 4 is destroyed which in turn causes their new home to turn from Lush Earth like to Mars like. When the U.S.S. Reliant comes across the planet to select a planet for experimentation, they come up against Khan. The Super humans take control of the Reliant and steals the Genesis Machine. The Genesis machine has the ability to convert a barren Mars like planet to a lush Earth like one. Kirk has to battle his adversary once more to regain the Genesis machine. In the final battle, Spock dies as he gives his life to save the crew in a radiation chamber. His body is left on the Genesis planet..
