| Starship Troopers
Synopsis |
A satirical film based on young naive soldiers joining up and fighting for their country. Instead of battling advanced alien life-forms, they are battling a range of alien bug life forms. The story follows a couple of lovers who when the female ( Carmen ) decides that she's going to join the space navy. The boyfriend ( Johnny ) decides to not go to University but instead joins the army. Johnny progresses up the ranks of the army but due to a fatal mistake causing the death of a solider, he is demoted. When an asteroid hits Beunos Aires, the planet goes to war. Johnny is briefly reunited with Carmen whilst the soldiers are being transported to the planet. Johnny has to survive wave after wave of bug attacks, whilst Carmen has to cope with the advances of a captain. When it is discovered that the bugs are being controlled by a Brain Bug, the soldiers held out to find the creature. Throughout the film, we are subjected to Earth War Propaganda, 'Do you want to know more ?' It has a lore of gore in the film so its not for the squeamish.

| | Matt Garrott | | | Starship Troopers is a brilliant film its an 18 film but i like the violence the blood and the gore like the bit where it goes WOULD YOU LIKE TO KNOW MORE and that news man with the camera on the planet Kendathu and the alien aranchid bug comes out of no where and he gets killed snapped in half i thought that bit was so cool because he wasn't concentrating on fighting he was just thinking about his story and the most funniest bit is when Carmen is operating on that bug and she just throws up and DIZ just bursts out laughing I seen alot of science fiction movies and i am a big fan of them these are the movies i like WEBS MEN IN BLACK MEN IN BLACK II ALIEN ALIENS ALIEN 3 ALIEN RESURRECTION STARSHIP TROOPERS 2 HERO OF THE FEDERATION PREDATOR 1 AND 2 INDEPENDENCE DAY STAR WARS EPISODES 1 ,2 ,4,5,6 PLANET OF THE APES DREAMCATCHER MARS ATTACKS E.T THE EXTRA TERRESTIAL STAR TREK I ONLY SEEN BITS OF IT GALAXY QUEST Webs you should watch that its one of the science fiction films i am into its one its about these technicians and they come across a portal and they have to go through it to a different part of the universe and they encounter something far more deadly a gigantic alien in the form of a spider and there are these alien zombies as well serving her shes the queen and the portal shuts down and they don't get through again now their only mission is to find someone who is trapped there with them and to do that they must stop the queen alien spider once they do that the film ends. |
