Synopsis |
Production for the film is expected at the tail-end of 2005 with a release date of sometime in 2006. Unlike the first film, it won't centre on aliens. It is rumoured that the film will be more monster or mythological oriented. It will not be a follow-on from the series which ended after nine years. It'll be a complete stand-alone episode that anyone can watch and enjoy. Chris Carter will be back at the helm, writing it. David Duchovny has allegedly signed up for it. They're still waiting for Gillian to sign up because it can't go ahead without her. Imagine Penn without Teller or Morcambe without Wise, that's what it'll be like for X-Files without Scully.
