Synopsis |
The first attempt at making a film version of the story, updated. It was to become set in 50's America. The Martians arrive as per the book in a cylinder objects that rain down on the planet. The Red Weed makes an appearance. The tripedal craft are changed to floating space crafts which ruins it for diehards. The Deathrays are kept in the story along with how they defeat the aliens.
