Barnabas Greeley from Battlestar Galactica played by James Marsters.

Barnabas Greeley is a fictional male Human terrorist in the Battlestar Galactica television series who was played on screen by James Marsters. James Marsters was previously remembered for his portrayal of vampire Spike in the Buffy, the Vampire Killer television series.

When the virtual avatar of Zoe Graystone persuades Lacy Rand to get her Cylon model to Gemenon, Lacy turns to one of her school friends. Her school friend puts her in contact with Barnabas, a member of the religious fanatics The Soldiers of the One. Zoe believes that by getting to Gemenon, she can be free.

Barnabas will only help if Lacy joins the Soldiers of the One which Lacy reluctantly agrees to. Lacy feels that she let her best friend down by not being on the train with her. When Barnabas provides the necessary box to transport the Cylon, Barnabas requests that Lacy does him a favour, he demands that Lacy kills Sister Clarice Willow.

Barnabas is in conflict with Sister Clarice Willow over the direction of the Soldiers of the One. Barnabas persuades Lacy to place a bomb in Clarice's car as Clarice is leaving for Gemenon for a meeting with Mother, the head of the organisation. Clarice survived the bombing and got to Gemenon and ultimately met Mother.

On Clarice's return, she came after Barnabas and killed him. Instead of killing Lacy in revenge, Clarice held Lacy prisoner and then sent her to Gemenon for religious teaching. Gemenon is the twin planet of Caprica in the series.
