Eowyn is one of the few female characters in the Lord of the Rings. Eowyn has a bit of a rebellious attitude. Eowyn is from Rohan and is a noblewoman and a shieldmaiden. When it comes to the final fight, she puts on armour and takes part in the fight. Merry is aware of what Eowyn has done and keeps it a secret.
