Galadriel is a fictional female Human in the Lord of the Rings film series who was portrayed on screen by Cate Blanchett. Galadriel is one of the older Elves in the Lord of the Rings.
Galadriel is the leader of the Realm of Lothlorien and lives in Cara Galadhon. Galadriel is married to Celebron and their daughter married Elrond who then had a daughter Arwen. Galadriel features in all the stories of Middle-Earth. After the War of the Ring, they leave for Valinor. Galadriel had a mirror which could foresee the future. Galadiel, Frodo and Sam all gazed into the mirror once.
Galadriel wore Nenya, the Elven ring for water that was created by Celebrimbor and used it to maintain her home in Lothlorien. When Gimli visited Lothlorien, he asked Galadriel for a strand of her hair. Galadriel obliged and gave Gimli three strands of her hair.
