General Grievous - Star Wars

Grievous from Star Wars played by +Matthew Wood.

Grievous is a fictional male Robot Separatist leader in the Star Wars film series who was played on screen by +Matthew Wood. Grievous holds the rank of General within the Sith.

General Grevious is a cyborg with a living heart, he is the leader of the break-away factions of The Old Republic known as The Separatists in Star Wars III - Revenge of The Sith.

In the films, he only appears in episode III but he also features in the cartoon series. Grevious kidnapped Vice Chancellor Palpatine and held him onboard a command ship. Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi launched a rescue mission to rescue the Vice Chancellor. General Grevious managed to escape the encounter with the two Jedi Knights.

Only when General Grievous is dead, does Vice Chancellor Palpatine take the next step and move closer to becoming the Emperor Palpatine of the galaxy. Palpatine orders Order 66 which results in the Stormtroopers killing all the Jedis. Obi-Wan Kenobi gets to face General Grevious on the planet of Utapau where Obi-Wan is seen using a gun to kill the General.

Even though he has many arms and hands, each one holding a lightsaber, Obi-Wan Kenobi is too much for Grevious to fight and is killed by Obi-Wan. It is a rare sight to see when a Jedi Knight as important and skilled as Obi to use a gun to finally kill Grevious by shooting at Grevious's heart.
