Special Agent Jordan Duram - Battlestar Galactica

Jordan Duram is a fictional male Human Detective in the Battlestar Galactica television series who was played on screen by Brian Markinson. Jordan Duram holds the rank of Special Agent.

After the Maglev train bombing in Caprica City which resulted in the deaths of Zoe Graystone, Shannon Adama and Tamara Adama, Detective Jordan Duram of the Global Defense Department is put on the case to find the perpetrators and bring about the end of the organisation.

Jordan's investigations centre on the religious fanatics called 'Soldiers of the One', an organisation that is based on Gemenon and led by the Blessed Mother. Duram knows who the main agent of The Soldiers of the One on Caprica is but doesn't have enough evidence to bring her in. Jordan turns to Amanda Graystone to get information on Sister Clarice Willow. Jordan persuades Amanda to infiltrate Clarice's family to gain the information.

Jordan knows there's a traitor within the Department and believes it to be his superior. Jordan when pushed on who Jordan's informant is within Clarice's household is, Jordan reveals it to be Ma'beth, a so-called wife of Clarice. Ma'beth is killed by Clarice as revenge for revealing the information about The Soldiers of the One .

Brian Markinson would also later appear in Blood and Chrome as a superior officer who sends a young, newly qualified William 'Husker' Adama on his first mission deep into Cylon territory with a more experienced pilot, Coker Fasjovik.
