NGC 3114 Facts

NGC 3114 is an open cluster object of interest in space. It lies at a distance of 2969.9 Ly light years away in the constellation of Carina.

It is also referred to as NGC(3114) in the New General Catalogue. This is a list of deep space objects that was compiled by John Louis Emil Dreyer in 1888 in an update to John Herschel earlier catalogue.

The Open Cluster's location is 10 02 36.0 (R.A.) and -60 07 12 (Dec.).
