Tyr tells them to go ahead with the rendezvous and then leaves the ship. The Eureka Maru leaves which the Andromeda Ascendant is able to follow after Trance Gemini reveals that the ship is leading antiprotons and so can be followed. When the Andromeda catches up with the Eureka, both Dylan and Tyr board the ship to retake control.
Rommie reveals that the Ascendant has been sabotaged and cannot go to slipstream without destroying the Drago-Kazov home world which they are in orbit around. Tyr visits the Kodiak asteroid where he will be met by Dylan Hunt later as the two talk about the future and what has happened.
When Seamus Harper reviews the security logs, he learns that Tyr has been planning everything for the last three years and this is the culmination of all the work.
A large number of different ships come out of slipstream at this point in space. Eventually the ships will fire on everything. Tyr and Dylan return to the Andromeda Ascendant where Tyr will help the crew get the Ascendant to safety. Once the Andromeda is safe, Tyr will take a slip fighter and leave the Andromeda.
