Taking a Break From All Your Worries - Battlestar Galactica

Epsiode Synopsis

The episode begins with Doctor Gaius Baltar trying to commit suicide in the hope that he will resurrect onboard a Resurrection Ship. Gaius begins to hallucinate that he has been born again in one of the berthing pools surrounded by Cylon clones but they turn against him. As Gaius is being drowned, a clone comes through into the water and rescues him by kissing him. In the real world, he has been given mouth to mouth resuscitation by a guard. Lieutenant Felix Gaeta had alerted the guard to what was happening in the cell.

President Laura Roslin along with Commander William Adama and Col. Saul Tigh try to break Gaius into revealing what Gaius knows and whether he aided the Cylons on the attack on the twelve colonies. As the interrogation didn't go as plan, Adama suggests that they use a truth drug in the hope they can force the information out of him.

The interrogation goes ahead but they are unable to find out any information and so they turn to Felix Gaeta to get the information out from Gaius. They call this method the carrot as the stick method had not worked. The interrogation is a nice cop interrogation but Gaius rumbles the plan as Gaeta gave away the plan by looking up.

Also in the episode, both Captain Lee Adama and Lieutenant Kara Thrace are struggling with their marriages to Petty Officer Dualla and Samuel Anders respectively. By the end of the episode, both couples try to get make the most of their respective marriages.
