The Torment, The Release - Andromeda

Epsiode Synopsis

The Andromeda Ascendant is greeted by a group of Commonwealth ships controlled by Tri-Lorn. Tri-Lorn announced to Dylan Hunt that Dylan is under arrest for crimes against The Commonwealth. One of the crimes that Dylan did was to release Telemachus Rhade from prison.

Dylan refuses to come quietly but agrees to go with Tri-Lorn back to Tarazed for trial. Rommie hides Telemachus Rhade on the ship so he's not found by the Commonwealth investigators. The trail is to be carried out in an open room with the three members of Triumverate, Tri-Lorn, Tri-Jema and Tri-Camille. Prosecution led by Pish Tryan, a collector who Dylan sees as wanting to control the Commonwealth.

The episode is mainly a rehash of past episodes where scenes from episodes are shown as evidence for the prosecution. Every member of the crew is questioned before the Triumverate starting with Rommie being pushed to open up her archives which she holds back on.

Also questioned are Trance Gemini, Beka Valentine and Seamus Harper. All the members of the crew defend their captain. During the trial, Telemachus reveals himself and with the help of the others plan to break Dylan out of the trial and escape. On hearing the plan, Dylan decides that he wishes to see it through to the end.

When the verdict is reached, Dylan is found guilty of the crimes. Tri-Lorn offers to let Dylan go free because the Commonwealth needs him. Dylan returns to his ship where a group of Collector ships are planning on attacking. Tri-Lorn provides Dylan Hunt with the means to escape.
