The mission takes James to northern Italy to meet Kristatos, a person who can help Bond.

Bond is helped by Melina Havelock whose father was assassinated because he was getting too close to the truth about what happened to the boat.

When Bond visits Greece, he is about to assassinate Milos Columbo who he believes is behind the operation but Milos turns the tables round and tells Bond the truth.
