Jupiter Ascending

Synopsis

Jupiter Ascending is a Solar System based science fiction which was released in 2014 and is directed by Wachowski Siblings .

Jupiter Jones is a Russian Immigrant who has found work in the United States as toilet cleaner. Her world changes when a bounty hunter called Caine comes to take back to his home planet. When Jupiter was born, the stars were aligned aligned in a way that made her DNA indicate she is the future Queen of the universe.

The current Queen of the Universe has sent Caine to Earth to kill Jupiter Jones. However, Caine decides to protect Jupiter and take her back to his part of the Universe. The Queen of the Universe sends additional bounty hunters to kill Caine and Jupiter. Stinger is Caine's partner and mentor.

For those not aware, the name Jupiter is taken from the name of the fifth planet in our Solar System.

Stinger ( Sean Bean )


Stinger is an experienced special forces soldier from another part of the universe who mentors and trains Caine for missions. Stingers sends Caine to Earth to rescue and protect Jupiter Jones, the future Queen of the Universe.

Caine ( Channing Tatum )


Caine is a special forces soldier from another part of the universe. He is mentored and trained by Stinger. Caine is sent on a mission to Earth to rescue and protect Jupiter Jones, the future Queen of the Universe. Caine naturally falls in love with Jupiter.

Jupiter Jones ( Mila Kunis )


Jupiter Jones, although it might sound like a porn star name, the character is a Russian Immigrant who has found work cleaning toilets. When Jupiter was born, the stars were aligned in a way that made her DNA become the future Queen of the universe. Caine is sent to Earth to pick Jupiter up and take her back.

The King ( Eddie Redmayne )


The King is a male character Jupiter Ascending. Her primary role within the series is the king.
