NGC 1427A Facts Irregular Galaxy in Eridanus

NGC 1427A is an irregular galaxy object of interest in space. It lies at a distance of 50 Million Ly light years away in the constellation of Eridanus.

It is also referred to as NGC(1427) in the New General Catalogue. This is a list of deep space objects that was compiled by John Louis Emil Dreyer in 1888 in an update to John Herschel earlier catalogue.

The Irregular Galaxy's location is 3 40 9.41 (R.A.) and -35:37:17.74 (Dec.). Its Visual (Apparent) Brightness is 13.40 Magnitude . The object can not be seen by the naked eye, you need a telescope to see it.
