It is also referred to as NGC(2207) in the New General Catalogue. This is a list of deep space objects that was compiled by John Louis Emil Dreyer in 1888 in an update to John Herschel earlier catalogue. The Colliding Galaxies's location is 06:16.22s (R.A.) and -21:22.22 (Dec.). . The object can not be seen by the naked eye, you need a telescope to see it.
