NGC 2655 Facts

NGC 2655 is a lenticular galaxy object of interest in space. It lies at a distance of about 80,000,000.00 light years away in the constellation of Camelopardalis.

It is also referred to as NGC(2655) in the New General Catalogue. This is a list of deep space objects that was compiled by John Louis Emil Dreyer in 1888 in an update to John Herschel earlier catalogue. NGC 2655 was discovered in 1802 by William Herschel.

The Lenticular Galaxy's location is 8 55 40.08 (R.A.) and 78 13 23.43 (Dec.). Its Visual (Apparent) Brightness is 10.10 Magnitude . The object can not be seen by the naked eye from Earth, you need a telescope to see it.
