NGC 3125 Facts

NGC 3125 is a starburst galaxy object of interest in space. It lies at a distance of 50 Million Ly light years away in the constellation of Antlia.

It is also referred to as NGC(3125) in the New General Catalogue. This is a list of deep space objects that was compiled by John Louis Emil Dreyer in 1888 in an update to John Herschel earlier catalogue. NGC 3125 was discovered in 1835 by John Herschel.

The Starburst Galaxy's location is 10:6:33.30 (R.A.) and -29:56:7.91" (Dec.). Its Visual (Apparent) Brightness is 12.50 Magnitude . The object can not be seen by the naked eye, you need a telescope to see it.
