Auchindoun is a dungeon in the World of Warcraft game. The minimum level for this dungeon is 95+. The location of the entrance to Auchindoun is in the Talador zone on the continent of Draenor. The instance was released in the Warlords of Draenor expansion. The dungeon contains 4 bosses. The end boss of Auchindoun is Teron`gor.
Running this dungeon increases your reputation for the Laughing Skull / Sha'tari Defense faction. How much you get depends on the level and the race of the character. Humans have a racial bonus of diplomacy which means they get more rep from killing and doing things than the other races.Dungeon rep can only be gained during Reputation Week.
Holed up inside the Auchindoun is the warlock Orc Teren'gor who with his Draenei colleagues and creatures of the Netherspace are plotting the downfall of the races. In Outlands, Auchindoun was a amphitheatre like read with four different dungeon, in the past it has only one dungeon.
In Outlands which Draenor became, this area used to be four dungeons, which were Shadow Labyrinth, Setthek Halls, Mana-Tombs and Auchenai Crypts. They've not updated the dungeon, rather do away with them and put just one in their place.
The order of the bosses is to go from left to right in an arc and then taking on the final boss in the middle after using a teleport mechanism. If you are doing the legendary ring quest line, this is one of the dungeons that you need to visit to collect an item for Khadgar. The quest for this dungeon is given to you after you have completed the first three dungeon quests and before doing a solo quest in Nagrand.
For Mythic version of the dungeon, you will need to fly there, you can't simply go via LFG mechanism. The nearest neutral flight point to the dungeon is Retribution Point and then the dungeon is near enough just dead ahead. There are no mounts that drop here.
During bonus week, players are able to increase their reputation with either Laughing Skull Orcs (Horde) or Sha'tari Defense (Alliance) but only during the Warlords of Draenei Bonus weekend. Both reputations require the person to have a trading post to visit the quartermaster. If you have the necessary rep to buy something from the quartermaster, you'll be able to visit a friends garrison to buy the items.
The dungeon drops 570 item level gear on normal, 630 item level gear on heroic and 685 on mythic level dungeons.
In the corridor leading to the Vigilant's room, you will experience no resistance. In the room where you fight Vigilant, there are groups of adds that must be taken down before you can engage the boss.
The main things you need to worry about here is that Kaathar will cause A.O.E. damage on the ground in lines. In addition to the lines, Kaathar will also throw his shield which all players should hide behind before he unleashes a large amount of A.O.E. light. He is relatively easy if you follow the rules.
After the fight with the first boss, you make your way back to the entrance. Between the first boss and the second boss, the Draenei who were once friendly are now your enemies as some turn on others. There's no need to work out whose friendly and whose not, it'll become apparent as you move forward.
Nyami will be teleporting herself round the room when you arrive. If you move into the centre of the area, Nyami will eventually teleport into that spot. The main things you need to worry when you fight the boss is that she'll ressurect the dead to help fight. If you take too long, she'll eventually start to heal herself and you'll be back to square one.
Azzakel will appear once you have cleared the room of the groups of adds in the room at the opposite end of the corridor from where the first boss was. Throughout the fight, the boss will take to the air and adds will appear and attack you. Whilst he is in the air, any damage you make on him will be slight. Unless you are going for the achievement where you need to void attacking the adds, you should take out the adds.
Whether you attack Azzakel or not, after a short time, Azzakel will land and continue the fight. Its only hard to see whats happening not the boss itself. When the fight is over, stairs will appear leading down to the next stage.
Before you encounter this boss, you will need to fight three mini-bosses and their companions. From the location of the previous fight, you move down the stairs and click on the soul transporter. You and the rest of the group will be ported to another platform where you will face off against a mini-boss and companion. If you can, just take out the mini-boss. When the mini-boss has been taken out, the companion will disappear. Keep killing and then clicking on the soul transporter until you face off against Terengor.
During the encounter with the final boss, Teren'gor will create a Felborn Abyssal who'll follow a player around the ground. Its safe to not hit the Abyssal, instead just concentrate on the boss. The Abyssal will die when Teren'gor dies. At the end of the fight, click on the soul transporter to get back to the exit or teleport out.
