Baradin Hold is a raid whose entrance is located in Tol Barad on the continent of Eastern Kingdoms in the World of Warcraft game. The minimum level for this dungeon is 85. The instance was released in the Cataclysm expansion. The raid contains 3 bosses. The end boss of Baradin Hold is Argaloth.
Baradin Hold is a raid that players get to visit when their faction has control of Tol Barad pvp zone. People only tend to fight the highest boss here but have deserted it since World of Warcraft - Mists of Pandaria came out. Although the raid is in a PVP zone, there is no PVPing inside the area, it is enterable only by one faction only. It is similar to Vault of Archavon but there is one less boss than the previous expansions' raid. The only point in going there is to get the raid boss kill achievement or any transmorgification clothing and nothing else. The location of the entrance is through a cellar door portal on the outside of one of the buildings. The raid is fought over by the factions just over every two hours.
The main thing to worry about with Argaloth is the Fel Firestorm where he unleashes a torrent of fel fire everywhere and everyone will have to move so as not be set alight. The Fel Firestorm is the hardest thing to worry about. When the firestorm is going on, he won't change direction so even the tanks can run when this happens. In addition tot he AOE damage of the Firestorm, he will lash out at individual players with fel power and hurt them.
There are three main attack modes you need to be aware of. There's the dedicated one where he'll target one player and everyone needs to move away from that player as it will create a large amount of floor damage. He'll breathe fire on the ground which is not targetted at anyone so make sure you're not in its way. The third is when his eyes pop out and everyone needs to move.
Alizabal will get on your nerves throughout the fight by complaining about the place and everything, just turn the sound off and get the kill done as quickly as possible. She'll use her swords to attack the player who has the focus. The tank will loose focus temporarily whilst she targets another player as she spins towards them in a whirlwind. The focussed player needs to move out of the way and then get back into the fight.
The third thing to worry about is that a player can be skewered on the ground, unable to move whilst their health is hit by the boss, as soon as someone is skewered, a healer needs to focus on them.
