Grimrail Depot is a dungeon in the World of Warcraft game. The minimum level for this dungeon is 100. The instance was released in the Warlords of Draenor expansion. The dungeon contains 3 bosses. The end boss of Grimrail Depot is Skylord Tovra.
Running this dungeon increases your reputation for the Frostwolf Orc / Council of Exarchs faction. How much you get depends on the level and the race of the character. Humans have a racial bonus of diplomacy which means they get more rep from killing and doing things than the other races.Dungeon rep can only be gained during Reputation Week.
Grimrail Depot takes place at a train station and then onboard a train going through Gorgrond. The fight area after the first boss isn't very wide and can be hard at time to see what is going on. It is possible to fall off the side of the train and die so its best not to get too close to the edge. The aim of the instance is to the front of the train to stop Tovra and ultimately derail the train. When you kill Tovra, the train will derail and you need to make sure you loot all the items you need, they're not all in the same place esp. if you're doing the Legendary quest. There is no time limit and the train just goes on for ever and ever.
The train is used by the Iron Horde to transport their raw supplies and weapons to the Blackrock Foundry where Blackhand, their chief armourer makes and supplies all the weapons. The location of the entrance to the dungeon is in the Blackrock Foundry area on the southern side. Be careful that you enter the correct place otherwise you'll be wiping because its the raid you've entered. The Grimrail Depot has a gate over its entrance but the foundry doesn't.
For normal and heroic, you can use the Looking For tool but for the Mythic level, you will need to fly there. The nearest flight point to the dungeon for both the Alliance and Horde is the Everbloom Wilds neutral point and then you need to travel north from there.
During the Bonus Reputation Week, the dungeon can aware bonus for Frostwolf Orcs (Horde) and Council of Exarchs (Alliance). The amount depends on the level you are doing.
The dungeon drops 570 item level gear on normal, 630 item level gear on heroic and 685 on mythic level dungeons.
|This boss is not one but two, a master and an ogre slave. It is reminescent of Ick and Krikk in Pit of Saron but this time you fight separately. Rocketspark will fire missles at a person so you all need to keep moving. Borka has a smash move so you need to use that to your advantage so it knocks out Rocketspark before he fires. Most groups will take out Borka first then kill Rocketspark after.|
|Nitrogg Thundertower might look easy as his health goes down quite a bit at the beginning, however once he has lost health, he'll jump into his cannon at the back of the carriage and fire away. Whilst he's in his cannon, he'll fire fire at you and his adds will come and make it harder for you. When he fires from the cannon, you need to take cover to protect yourself. As the adds are killed, they'll drop grenade or mortars. Use grenades on the adds and with a mortar, jump into a spare cannon and fire back at the cannon. When the cannon has been destroyed, Nitrogg will jump out and it'll be a simple tank and spank.|
One of the few female bosses in the game but just as deadly with an intention to kill you. Tovra will have a Rylak helping her from the air and when Rylak sprays the ground, you need to move out the way. Its that simple, you need to kill her as quickly as you can.
