Gruul's Lair is a raid whose entrance is located in Blades Edge Mountains on the continent of Outlands in the World of Warcraft game. The minimum level for this dungeon is 70. The only achievements you can get in this dungeon are the ones for completing. There are no achievements awards for individual boss encounters for making him to do something. The main anagonist race in this dungeon are Ogre. The instance was released in the Burning Crusade expansion. The raid contains 2 bosses. The end boss of Gruul's Lair is Gruul.
Gruul's Lair is a simple raid that people experience in Blade Edge Mountains. In this instance, Gruul is a Gron complete with fully functioning arms but in Blackrock Foundry, a raid that is set thirty years before, his hand is mechanical. It would suggest his hand got repaired along the way by magic.
The King's companions include a Mage which will sheep players through time to time. The boss will summon large quadrupedal creatures to attack you. If you're high enough and doing this without clothes, punches will have no effect but spells will kill the targets instantly.
Even at high level, fearing by the boss will still cause problems for players and you can be sheeped although damage is negligible. One hit kills the enemies.
Gruul is at the end of the cavern ready for you to kill. Its an easy fight, not much taxing. You need to kite him round because the cave begins to call in and the stones will hurt you if you aren't that high enough.
You'll notice he'll have two normal arms whereas in the latter raid, Blackrock Foundry, he'll have just one good hand. It seems a continuity error. Blackrock Foundry is set before Gruul's Lair so you've expected him to have a full arm and hand then?
