Halls of Valor is a dungeon in the World of Warcraft game. The minimum level for this dungeon is 100. The main anagonist race in this dungeon are Vrykul. The location of the entrance to Halls of Valor is in the Stormheim zone on the continent of The Broken Isles. The dungeon contains 5 bosses. The end boss of Halls of Valor is Odyn.
Halls of Valor is a dungeon that is Odyn's home. You must complete the front and then the side bosses before taking on God-King Skovald and Odyn himself. You don't kill Heimdall or Hyrja, you just damage them a lot and neither do you get to kill Odyn, you only demonstrate to him what you can do. The Wolf section of this raid is similar to the Hunter's mount scenario.
Hymdall is a relatively easy boss, it is best that he is tanked in the same spot, no need to move him. Those that are not close by, need to be aware of the swords that spin round which need to be avoided. The swords cannot be destroyed, you just need to avoid them.
Hyrja will jump down from her platform and change into combat role. They'll be two lines of energy, one to left mini-boss and one to the right mini-boss. The tank needs to move Hyrja left and run when needed.
The left mini-boss will create a shield which all the players need to hide under for protection. The right mini-boss will fire energy balls from the centre which need to be avoided if possible.
This is a three stage battle, the first stage is that you weaken Fenryr then you chase it then you kill it. Fenryr will run off when it is bleeding and take to her den. Before you engage her a second time, you should clear all the wolf packs that are surrounding her and protecting her otherwise it will be a bloodbath. Clear the trash, engage and leave.
If you have played the entire Stormheim quest line then you will have encountered this boss along the ways. Now is the time to combat him. When Odyn is about to challenge you, Skovald will interrupt and request that he be given the opportunity to fight and so he has his turn.
The main thing to watch is when the shield comes up and you have to be inside the area otherwise you will receive a lot of damage and possibly die. Apart from that, there's nothing else to worry about.
This is a two phase fight, the first part is to face off against Odyn's fellow bosses from Halls of Valor dungeon. Instead of taking them on individually, you take them on together. You need to split into two groups and get them down to 25%. Melee should fight Hyjra, the female and Ranged take on Hymdall. Its a simple and easy fight and shouldn't prove too taxing. After this fight, you take on Odyn himself. Again like the dungeon, you don't actually get to kill him, just weaken him.
The fight against Odyn is pretty much the same as the dungeon. The only exception is that he will call on adds to help him. You'll also need to move out of the fight circle when it becomes illuminated. There is also the patterns above the head that you need to be aware of and move to the correct pattern.
Once the fight is over you move to the next area where you need to make a run to the entrance to the next section. One word of warning is that some groups might be pulled back for certain fights and so you must keep enough back to support them.
