Well, the Lost City of Tol'vir was easily found when the zone was opened up for the Cataclysm expansion. The inhabitants of the dungeon are the Tol'vir, a cross between human and cat. Imagine a Centaur with a cat like appearance. The heroic boss version has one extra boss, that is Augh who steals the boss loot that dropped from the crocodile boss you killed previously. The boss Siamat is the same boss who animation you saw at the very beginnning of entering this zone.

Before you encounter the boss, you clear the area of any trash as they can impede your task if they get set off. When the fight starts, he'll need to be kited around the area. Every so often he'll create landmines on the ground which you need to avoid otherwise they will damage you and throw you into the air. You'll most likely be thrown against a tree of maybe at trash.
Augh only appears on Heroic, on normal, Augh just shows his face and then disappears. Augh steals the loot that would have dropped from Lockmaw and so you need to kill him. He'll appear in the Lockmaw fight but he's not killable immaterial of what ilvl and level you are. His main super spell if you want to put it that way is that he spins and move, causing damage to any players who are in the way.
Lockmaw is a giant crocodile that when engaged will summon little crocodiles to attack you. If you are going for the achievement, you will need to hold off killing any of the crocodiles until the end. The tank will need to kite the boss round the area so that the smaller crocodiles don't cause as much damage. If you are doing the heroic version, there is no loot at the end, Augh appears and steals all the loot, you need to kill Augh for the loot.
This boss will need to be kited everywhere. He'll create light attacks on people so you need to keep moving. When the Phoenix is up, you need to kill the bird before moving back onto the boss. When the bird is dead, it'll turn into an egg to recouperate. Once the egg is up to full strength, the Phoenix will appear and attack the players. It is quite easy if you're high enough to ignore the bird and just kill the boss.
Between the previous boss and this boss, there are no trash to be killed. When the previous boss is killed, the building behind you when you faced the boss breaks apart and tornadoes appear. When you step into the tornado, you will be transported up to the top to face the boss.
Whilst it is possible to kill the boss straightaway by ignoring adds, it is only advisable if you are high enough to do so. You will need to attack the adds that he spawns at the corners of the room. Once you have attacked three, his shield will come down and he'll be a lot easier to kill. If you get knocked off the building, run to the tornado to get back on.
