Magisters Terrace is a dungeon in the World of Warcraft game. The level range for the normal dungeon is 68-72. The only achievements you can get in this dungeon are the ones for completing. There are no achievements awards for individual boss encounters for making him to do something. The main anagonist race in this dungeon are Blood Elves. The location of the entrance to Magisters Terrace is in the Isle of QuelDanas zone on the continent of Eastern Kingdoms. The instance was released in the Burning Crusade expansion. The dungeon contains 4 bosses. The end boss of Magisters Terrace is Kael'thas Sunstrider.
Running this dungeon increases your reputation for the Shattered Sun Offensive faction. How much you get depends on the level and the race of the character. Humans have a racial bonus of diplomacy which means they get more rep from killing and doing things than the other races.
Magisters Terrace nestled high on a hill on the Isle is where Kael'thas Sunstrider escaped to when he was defeated in Tempest Keep. There is no requirement however that you must kill him in Tempest Keep before taking him on here. There is a requirement that you need to do the Normal version of the dungeon before you can do the heroic version. The heroic version of the raid, there is a chance that you can get a mount. The normal version has a chance of a Phoenix battle pet to drop, whoop!!!
Magisters Terrace entrance is located on the north eastern corner of the island, up a long slope to a mountain. During the encounter, if you click on the orb after the second boss, you get to see a short intercut video of the final area of The Sunwell Plateau ending with a close up of a captivated female, Anveena Teague, a female avatar of the energy of the sunwell.
To get to Isle of Quel'danas, you can take a flight from Eastern Kingdoms or a portal from Shattrath. If you're Alliance, you will be able to get cut the journey short by flying out of Ironforce. For the Horde, the quickest way is via Silvermoon, the city at the very top of the continent and home of the Blood Elves.
Selin Fireheart is the first boss that you encounter. Selin will occassionally run to a crystal and attempt to draw power from it, when Selin does this, you need to destroy the crystal that is giving him the power. Failure to destroy the crystal will re-energise Selin Fireheart and he will dish out more damage.
It is useful to have a mage in the group as you make your way to the next boss Vexallus. Vexallus is an energy void boss who will call on electrical power to provide him with the energy to try to defeat you. Over time as you damage him, he will shrink in size until he is completely beaten.
On the way to the next boss, don't forget to view the animation sequence accessed through the orb on the balcony. The animation is of the last section of Sunwell Plateau.
The next boss encounter isn't a single boss but a group of them which you must defeat. The priority one is Priestess Delrissa who is the female with the many arms.
The tactics for the final boss here is different to the boss in the Tempest Keep. He will have a Phoenix that he can call on to help deat you which once it dies turns into an egg and then hatches back into a bird. Once you have dpsed the boss down so far, he will launch you into the air where you must avoid the spheres and not touch the ground. It best to always go in to Magister's Terrace with at least one ranged to accompany you.
