Mogu'shan Vaults is a raid whose entrance is located in Kun-Lai Summit on the continent of Pandaria in the World of Warcraft game. The minimum level for this dungeon is 90. The main anagonist race in this dungeon are Mogu. The instance was released in the Mists of Pandaria expansion. The raid contains 6 bosses. The end boss of Mogu'shan Vaults is the Will of the Emperor. The minimum item level requirement for the raid is 460.
Mogu'shan Vaults is a cave dug into the side of a mountain many thousands of years ago. It was the final resting place for Lei Shen, the Thunder King. Lei Shen was supposed to rest in peace by Zandalari Trolls found the place, excavated it and brought the King back to life. You won't encounter Lei Shen here, instead, the main antagonists here will be Zandalari Troll and spiritual Mogu.
You can only enter the heroic version of this raid if you have successful completed the normal version. If you have a warlock in the group who has done normal, they can summon you in, sounds silly, I know but it works. That way you bypass having to do the normal first. This also applies to Terrace of Endless Spring.
This is the first raid you can do in the World of Warcraft - Mists of Pandaria expansion. It is split into two for those who do the LFR and Legendary quest items can randomly drop here so no need to wait to do them on normal. If you haven't started the legendary quest by now, you are unable to get it sadly.
The raid awards loot that is level 476 for Raid Finder, 489 for normal and 502 for Heroic.
When battle commences, three of the four dogs will break from their stone base and attack players. Each dog will have their own attack move and you need to be careful of this.
One of the easiest raid achievements out there, you just need to equip yourself with a dog non-combat companion pet for this achievement to be reached. Also everyone in the raid party must have the pet out, no exceptions.
Feng's fighting area is within the circular area so you will need to get into the area otherwise you'll be locked out. If you're here to do the achievement, you will need at least two people to do it, one, a tank to start the achievement, the other to have the affect. You need a proper tank for the achievement and a second person, its not possible to do it solo.
He'll run the room, picking up different weapons and can't be interrupted when going to the weapon. You need to be aware of the earthquake AOE and move out of the way when he does so. If you're a hunter, Disengage would be good but make sure you have space behind you otherwise it'll be wasted.
Only when all the other Zandalari warriors are dead will Gara'jal make his entrance. For the birds that are flying high, you will need to use your ranged spell to knock the Zandalari off. Gara'jal will make a big entrance on pterodactyl and land in the middle. The achievement if you're here for can't be done on your own, you need at least one other person, one to enter the spirit world and one to stay out.
Gara'jal is a voodoo priest and as such, he'll use powers of the occult on you. One of the spells will be to turn you in a voodoo doll where the damage that you receive, the other voodoo afflicted will also get the damage. If you're here soloing, just nuke him as there's scant anything else to do.
After finishing Gara'jal, you walk into the building and talk to Cho to start the next phase. The next phase is to kill each group of spirits before you can start the boss phase. Once the spirits are dead, ascend the steps to the boss fight.
There are four bosses to fight. The second boss, Subetai, the swift is the boss that you need to dance with when you get inflicted with Pilage. The thing to note with the second boss when you are soloing is that he'll use arrows to pin you down and you won't be able to get up and will need to wait until he has killed you.
Subetai is nigh on impossible to solo for the achievement because he'll pin you down. If you're just after killing him, nude him and he'll be dead before you know it. In addition to the arrows, he'll have a line of soldiers march through the area so you need to move out of the way. If you have a mechanical grinch, it won't help you at all. A hunter pet should be able to help you with it.
Elegon the energy dragon is one of those bosses that drop a mount so good luck that it drops for you. When you first enter the area, kill the trash and then wait for the Cho to arrive then talk to him to make the boss appear. The main thing is that the melee dps need to fight close whereas the ranged dps should stay as far back as possible so that they can then step off the area before the floor disappears.
During the fight, energy sparks will shoot out from the centre. You can destroy all these sparks if you're good enough. If you can't, get off the platform as quickly as possible because the floor will disappear. The second phase, you need to destroy the field generators and avoid both the AOE and the adds that spawn. Once all the generators have been destroyed, the platform will come back and you can dps the boss again. Repeat the steps until the boss is dead.
When you enter the room make sure everyone is downstaris apart from one person that is not the tank is able to start the raid. Once the raid has started, move down to the bottom with the others. The fight will see Mogu jump from the windows and chase people. Those not being chased should run and attack the one being followed. The actual bosses, two giant Mogus will appear during the raid. When the big adds arrive, one tank should take on one boss and move him to opposite sides of the room so that they don't conflict with one another.
If you are doing this solo, one of the bosses will have a shield and will keep turning before you can get round to kill by hitting his unguarded side. You can quite easily ignore this add with a shield and concentrate on the large two boss adds.
