This is a three phase boss, the first phase is that you take on Gu. The dps is well advised to hide behind the boss whilst the tank tanks it. The second phase, he'll phase out and become undamagable. In the second phase, a serpent will appear and that is who you need to attack. You need to move as close to the wall as possible as although Gu is not killable, he unleashes a lot of damage against you. The third phase is the same as the first phase and that is you need to kill him as quickly as possible.
When you enter the academy, Master Snowdrift will welcome you and accuse you of waking the Sha. Master will set monks onto you to try you out. You need to stay inside the circular fight zone otherwise you'll falkl through the ceiling and return back to the centre. Once you have bested the trainees, you get to fight the most experienced fighters, Flying Snow and Fragant Lotus. All the adds are easy. Once you have defeated all the trainees, you will be able to climbs the steps and face Snowdrift.
Snowdrift is a Monk so he'll unleash Fists of Fury where he punches hard so move out of the way. Whilst Fists of Fury are enabled, he won't move when you do. Another attack move is the Tornado Kick which is spinning on the spot with his foot out.
The final stage will see him create copies of himself at three points and fire palls of snow and fire. You need to hit two of these copies for them to disappear. When the adds disappear, that'll be him to hit. He'll repeat splitting and firing until he's dead. Once he's dead, he'll bow and let you receive loot.
When you finally meet this boss, there will be two pandarens alright fighting him, they will die quickly when you start the fight. The main thing you need to worry about is that he'll do a large AOE damage around the area, it'll radiate out from his locate so you need to be ready to move when he does it. Thats the only thing you do need to worry about.
Between the death of the Sha and the next boss are undead Pandarans which can be damaged down so far before you then need to purify them. Purification can only occur when you click on the slain pandaren with a light below them. The Pandarens can interrupt your purification, to purify them, tank them away from what you need to purify, they'll follow then get back to the object to purify and then they will be killable. It is possible to sneak past some of the groups if you don't want to waste time on them.
Before engaging the boss, go round and destroy all the shadow sphere which are not guarded by an Pandarans as the guarded ones are not needed to be destroyed. During the fight, Taran will create new spheres which will need to be destroyed. These new spheres have the power to pull you in so you need to move once they have pulled you in.
During the fight, your Hatred bar will increase. You need to press the button above the controls to purify yourself to get rid of the hatred. If all the players are hated when you kill the boss, its an achievement.
