The Shattered Halls Dungeon

The Shattered Halls is a dungeon whose entrance is located in Hellfire Peninsula in the World of Warcraft game. The level range for the normal dungeon is 67-75. The only achievements you can get in this dungeon are the ones for completing. There are no achievements awards for individual boss encounters for making him to do something. The main anagonist race in this dungeon are Orc. The instance was released in the Burning Crusade expansion. The dungeon contains 4 bosses. The end boss of The Shattered Halls is Warchief Kargath Bladefist.

Running this dungeon increases your reputation for the Honor Hold/Thrallmar faction. How much you get depends on the level and the race of the character. Humans have a racial bonus of diplomacy which means they get more rep from killing and doing things than the other races.

Shattered Halls is one of the most identiable dungeons in the Hellfire Citadel area of Hellfire Peninsula because it has a gate on the entrance. When Burning Legion first came out, people had to run a series of quests to get the key to unlock the door. The quest line started by killing an Orc on the outside of the Black Temple in Shadowmoon Valley and also to kill the massive Fel Reaver that stalked the waste lands of Hellfire Peninsula. Also to get the Nauru title, you needed to run this dungeon amongst other things before the final boss killed all his prisoners but you can't get that title anymore.

The final boss would later return in World of Warcraft - Warlords of Draenor as the first raid boss you encounter in the Highmaul raid. If you think too hard, you will realise that you've created a paradox, how can you've killed someone twice unless of course Sargaras is able to bring them back alive but you're not supposed to think to much into these things.

List of The Shattered Halls Dungeon Bosses

Grand Warlock Nethekurse Tactics

Nethekurse will keep running at the tank or whoever is pulling and will call upon disciples to help him. Every so often he will create red whirlwind like objects to cause damage, just keep moving out the way. If all the dps in the group is ranged, just keep moving round and round and let the dps do the rest. This boss will drop on heroic the item for Kalynna's Request if you're are doing the Karazhan Tower questline and have that particular quest. No need to go on any further apart from rep if that's all you came for. To get at the boss, you have to slide down the shute just before the locked door, trudge through an ooze infested sewer and then back up again. Only when the boss is dead does the locked door open. Back when the quest was the highest level, when you killed this boss, a timer would start giving you 55 minutes to get to the end to save the prisoners. Nowadays that time doesn't mean anything. If it had been in the next expansion, to get to the end without the timer hitting zero would've been an achievement.

Blood Guard Porung Tactics

Porung will keep charging at you with his mighty sword, just keep kitting him and moving out the way.

Warbringer O'mrogg Tactics

A two-headed ogre who keep arguing with his other head. Warbringer will slide along the ground to attack people who he sees as a threat, just move out the way.

Warchief Kargath Bladefist Tactics

Kargath is the final boss and is relatively simple. Just kite and dps the boss down. Eventually, he will swirl around and you'll need to move out the way. Bladefist will call on a disciple to come to his air, just dps the add down and keep moving out of Kargaths way. During the time of World of Warcraft - Burning Crusade, there was a quest which would lead to a title where you had to kill Kargath before he killed the prisoners. The achievement and the title is no longer available.
