The Blood Furnace is a dungeon in the World of Warcraft game. The level range for the normal dungeon is 58-63. The only achievements you can get in this dungeon are the ones for completing. There are no achievements awards for individual boss encounters for making him to do something. The main anagonist race in this dungeon are Orc. The location of the entrance to The Blood Furnace is in the Hellfire Peninsula zone on the continent of Outlands. The instance was released in the Burning Crusade expansion. The dungeon contains 3 bosses. The end boss of The Blood Furnace is Keli`dan the Breaker.
Running this dungeon increases your reputation for the Honor Hold/Thrallmar faction. How much you get depends on the level and the race of the character. Humans have a racial bonus of diplomacy which means they get more rep from killing and doing things than the other races.
The entrance to the dungeon is 46,51. If you have a mount then you can fly directly to the dungeon. It is the top most dungeon in the HellFire Citadel area of Hellfire Peninsula. Once inside, you must be aware of rogue orcs that lurk in the dungeon especially on the stairs at the start as they will stun and possibly kill you.
Be sure to clear the room. There is a large enough space so pulling the boss at the same is bordering on idiocy. He has the power to take control of a player so you need to be ready for that and not him or her too hard. He'll throw a beaker at a player and that will cause a player to go into the air or be knocked back.
When you first enter the fight area, there are a large of trash that needs to be killed before you should start the boss. Once the adds have been killed, press the lever, this will start phase one when infected orcs will be released from their prisons and charge you and the team. The tank needs to pick up the adds with the dps kill them. The next group of Orcs will only be released when the current are dead.
Only when all the orcs are dead will Broggok be realeased. He needs to be tanked round the room because he spits poison on the ground and the poison will grow and grow. Players should fight behind the boss with the tank at the front as in addition to the poison gas, he'll spot poison at players in front of him. If you have someone who can remove poison such as druid, you'll be grateful s/he was there with you.
When you reach the fight area, there'll be a group of cultists doing a spell. You need to kill all the cultists before you attack the boss. The tank should use his ranged weapon to pull all the adds to him and then tank them by the entrance.
Once the cultists are dead, Keli'dan will rush at you so you don't need to worry about running to him. He'll be telling you that you don't know what you've done, you'll release Magtheridon. He's talking about the large monster in the room underneath. You will not be able to access that room from this dungeon. The pitlord in the room underneath is Magtheridon from Magtheridons Lair.
The main thing you need to worry about is that he uses shadow damage and he'll put dots on players. If you can remove shadow, then do so. The tank does need to be mobile as the boss will create fire tornados which need to be avoided.
