The Temple of Atal`Hakkar, a.k.a. The Sunken Temple is a dungeon in the World of Warcraft game. The level range for the normal dungeon is 47-55. The only achievements you can get in this dungeon are the ones for completing. There are no achievements awards for individual boss encounters for making him to do something. Classic raids and dungeons only had one mode and that was normal. Heroic level versions of the dungeon started in the Wrath of the Lich King expansion. Starting in Cataclysm and onwards, Heroic level dungeons were introduced for the highest level.The location of the entrance to The Temple of Atal`Hakkar, a.k.a. The Sunken Temple is in the Swamp of Sorrows zone on the continent of Eastern Kingdoms. The dungeon contains 5 bosses. The end boss of The Temple of Atal`Hakkar, a.k.a. The Sunken Temple is Shade of Eranikus.

The dungeon used to be known as the Sunken Temple because it is a temple that is now inside a lake. It is now referred to as Temple of Atal'Hakkar, the dead but not forgotten bone serpent. When you get to the lake, you need to know that the entrance is quite a way into the place, you need to follow the corridor down and dive down and swim through a lake.

The original dungeon was split over two floors where in the first phase, you had to clear all the summoners on the top row and then move down. The updated dungeon no longer requires you to do two levels, only one. The ultimate entrance is at tomtom coordinate 75,45.

Before taking on any of the bosses, the players should clear the central area before hand because when ou come back, you will be up against a pair of bosses after killing the Avatar.

Hakkar is a serpent god that some tribes of the Trolls will worship. In the past, you would have faced off against Hakkar in the Zul'Gurub original raid before they downsized to that of a dungeon. When you enter the room, there are a few flying serpents, you need to summon the boss. Kill the serpents and click on the pile of bones on the outside of the circle and then the creature will appear in the middle but will not attack.

When you hit the boss, the fight will start and two large gates will come down preventing escape until the fight is over and one side looses. During the fight, Hakkar will mind control a player and make them attack another so you need to be ready for when that happens. In addition to controlling another person, he'll curse them and slow them down.

Once the boss is dead, the gates will open and you can carry onto the next and final boss if you are doing it in the same order as laid out on this page.

Jammal'an, the Prophet Tactics

In the Lair of the Chosen, there are small groups of trolls lingering around before the boss, it is safe to pull these groups one at a time. Something that you should be aware of is that when you kill them, one might turn into a slow moving spectral. The spectral cannot be killed and has to be avoided.

Jammal'an has a friend, Ogom who will attack when Jammal'an does so be ready for it. When you first see the boss, he'll be in a pose summoning what looks like green orbs and can obscure your view of him but don't get too close till you are ready to fight him.

During the fight he will turn someone into a Ogre creature through a curse but the player will not attack the other players. A player will be rooted during the fight, blinking will move the player but they will still be rooted.

Wardens of the Dream Tactics

Wardens of the dream are four green drakes that are Dreamscythe, Weaver. Morphaz and Hazzas. They will appear in the centre when you have killed Hakkar and Jammal'an. Their main ability is to spit green nature poison in front of them so keep moving. You can attack them individually, only need to attack them together when you are high enough character.

Dreamscythe and Weaver will appear in the middle with the other two at the end of the corridor. D&W will fly round the centre whilst M&H will fly up and down their corridor. When you kill the first two, the boss is finished.

Shade of Eranikus Tactics

When you first enter the room, Eranikus, the shadow drake will be asleep so you need to wake him up by hitting him. One of the spells that Eranikus is to put a player to sleep so as soon as the curse is off, get back into the fight and kill him. In addition to sleeping someone, he will stun all the players during the fight so be ready for that.

Like all the other drakes, he will spit poison on players so the healers needs to cure the poison when that happens. He'll also target a player and attack them aggressively so when that happens, the healer needs to get that persons health back up. The healer should be as far from the boss as possible so as not to be targetted and hit.
