Eversong Woods

Eversong Woods Zone in World of Warcraft, copyright Blizard Ent.

Eversong Woods is a zone on the continent of Eastern Kingdoms in the World of Warcraft game. The zone has a forest environmental feel to it. . Eversong Woods has quests for players leveled 1-11. There is a major city in this zone called Silvermoon. The area is controlled by the Horde and should be avoided by the Alliance. There are no dungeons or raids located in this zone.

Eversong Woods is the most northern zone of the Eastern Kingdoms. The area was blocked off before Burning Crusade was released. With the re-appearance of the Burning Crusade, the Blood Elves, once allied to Alliance, turned their backs and joined The Horde.

Running through the middle of Eversong Woods and the Ghostlands is a dried river bed which starts on the Isle of Quel'Danas to the north. The actual rivers starts in Sunwell Plateau raid location and continues down to Deatholme in Ghostlands.

The Blood Elf capital city is Silvermoon and it covers the eastern section of the northern part of Eversong Woods. The city is pretty vacant, not many people will go there unless a quest sends them there. For Rogues on their class mount quest line, they will need to visit Silvermoon to assassinate a character. Other reasons for going to Silvermoon is to get Blood Elf emu mounts.

Sunstrider Isle

When a Blood Elf is born (created), they will begin their adventure on Sunstrider Isle on the north western tip of the zone. Blood Elves are the masters of the Arcane so it goes to reason that there is a lot of Arcane monsters in the zone. In addition, Blood Elven Hunters first pet is a tiger which can be found in numerous places in the zone. If you want to have a tiger pet, here and Stranglethorn Vale are the best places to go.
