Orgrimmar is a zone on the continent of Kalimdor in the World of Warcraft game. The zone has a city environmental feel to it. . Orgrimmar has quests for players leveled 1-90. The area is controlled by the Horde and should be avoided by the Alliance. There is one dungeon or raid located in this zone.
Orgrimmar is the Orc city and the capital of the Horde. It is named after legendary Orc warrior, Orgrim Doomhammer who was one of the leaders of the Orcs during the invasion of Azeroth.
In addition to the Orcs, the Darkspear Trolls are also based here. The leaders are situated in a building just inside the entrance to the city unlike the other leaders who are situated close to the back of their cities.
Inside the Cleft is the Ragefire Chasm, one of the first dungeons that people experience as they level up their characters. Before the L.F.G. tool, any alliance players wanting to experience the dungeon would have to do a death run to get to the place as they'd be guards and players waiting there to kill them. It is the most populated of all the Horde cities.
In the Valley of Wisdom, high above are the portals to different zones, primarily the Cataclysm locations. There is also a portal to Pandaria. The Huojin Pandaren Quartermaster can be found in this zone.
When Christmas arrives, Father Winterveil can be found sitting under his tree near the building with the leaders of the Horde.
The path north leads to Azshara, a once quiet zone but since the Bilgewater Cartel of goblins joined, the area has become their own playground. There's no need to run round the zones, the path allows easy access.
