Westfall is a zone on the continent of Eastern Kingdoms in the World of Warcraft game. The zone has a plains environmental feel to it. . Westfall has quests for players leveled 9-26. The area is controlled by the Alliance and should be avoided by the Horde. There are 2 dungeons and raids located in this zone.
Westfall is the second zone that alliance character, mainly humans would visit. It was large farmland/prairie environment with a coastline. On the coast, the players would have to deal with the wretched murlocs and their infuriating screams.
Not on the coast would be Golems that have gone a bit mad, vultures, wolves and gnolls. There are two human settlements, the main one at Sentinel Hill would be populated by the military and homeless people on the outside wanting to be fed. The other human settlement was at Moonbrook, just a stones throw from Deadmines dungeon. Deadmines entrance was at the end of long tunnel which you had to fight through. The Deadmines was a nod to Goonies because at the end of the dungeon was a cave with a ship inside.
The Defias criminal gang are as big in this parts as they were in Elwynn Forest. The Defias were a group of outlaws that fought with the state but felt betrayed and so left. Their leader Edwin van Cleef was the original leader of the Defias but his character got killed off in Cataclysm. Vanessa van Cleef took over the role of Defias leader and she would be only encounterable in the Heroic version of Deadmines.
The questline through Westfall sees you trying to track down who is behind trying to recruit various characters throughout Westfall, it would turn out to be Vanessa van Cleef.
Mokewakes Tower at the eastern southern end of the zone provided for class quests when low. A rogue character would have to stealth all the way to the top and not get caught for instance.
|Dungeon||Type||End Boss||Level||Heroic Level|
