Centaurids Meteor Shower

When and where does the Centaurids Meteor Shower Occur

The Centaurids  meteor shower takes place within the boundaries constellation of Centaurus.

The Centaurids are a group of meteor showers that occur at the beginning of the year in the southern hemisphere therefore if you live in the northern hemisphere, you will probably not be able to see them. The main month of activity is in February. The Alpha and Beta Centaurids occur close to one another in the night sky whereas the Omicron is at the other end of the constellation.
