Gamma Leonids Meteor Shower

The Gamma Leonids meteor shower takes place within the boundaries constellation of the Leo. The meteor showers occurs between Aug 14-Sept 12 with the peak occuring on the Aug. 25/26 every year.

The closest star to the radiant point of the meteor shower is Algieba. The coordinates can also be determined by the Right Ascension (10) and the Declination (20).
