When and where does the Gamma Leonids Meteor Shower Occur

The Gamma Leonids  meteor shower takes place within the boundaries constellation of Leo. The meteor shower occurs between Aug 14-Sept 12 with the peak occurring on the Aug. 25/26 every year.

The closest star to the radiant point of the meteor shower is Algieba. The coordinates can also be determined by the Right Ascension (10) and the Declination (20).
