Crescent Nebula Facts Wolf-Rayet / Nebula in Cygnus

Crescent Nebula is a wolf-rayet / nebula object of interest in space. It lies at a distance of 4,500 Ly light years away in the constellation of Cygnus.

It is also referred to as NGC(6888) in the New General Catalogue. This is a list of deep space objects that was compiled by John Louis Emil Dreyer in 1888 in an update to John Herschel earlier catalogue.

The Wolf-Rayet / Nebula's location is 20:12:32.26 (R.A.) and 38:27:14.71 (Dec.).
