Skull and Crossbones Nebula Facts Starforming Nebula in Puppis

Skull and Crossbones Nebula is a starforming nebula object of interest in space. It lies at a distance of 13,000 Ly light years away in the constellation of Puppis.

It is also referred to as NGC(2467) in the New General Catalogue. This is a list of deep space objects that was compiled by John Louis Emil Dreyer in 1888 in an update to John Herschel earlier catalogue.

The Starforming Nebula's location is 07 52 18.5 (R.A.) and -26 25 41 (Dec.). Its Visual (Apparent) Brightness is 7.10 Magnitude . The object can not be seen by the naked eye, you need a telescope to see it.
