Pacman Nebula Facts Star Forming Nebula in Cassiopeia

Pacman Nebula is a star forming nebula object of interest in space. It lies at a distance of 9,000 Ly light years away in the constellation of Cassiopeia.

It is also referred to as NGC(281) in the New General Catalogue. This is a list of deep space objects that was compiled by John Louis Emil Dreyer in 1888 in an update to John Herschel earlier catalogue.

The Star Forming Nebula's location is 00 52 41.74 (R.A.) and 56:37:26.33 (Dec.).
